The incidence and severity of neurological illness has been on the rise - and our field of applied neurobiology has so much to offer! It is estimated that today only 1 in 4 children is neurologically and developmentally healthy and well by age 6 - an decrease of several hundred percent in recent years. ALS, Parkinson, Alzheimer's disease, Autism and other disorders of the central nervous system are increasing exponentially. 1 in 54 children in the UK is now diagnosed with the full picture of autism, up from 1 in 10,000 only 15 years ago.
