To set the framework for the three-day meeting, Dr. Klinghardt quoted microbiologist Gitte Jensen, Ph.D. who said that “the older we get, the more foreign DNA is attached to our own DNA.” Somewhere along the line, said Dr. Klinghardt, pathogenic microbes invade the hosts’ DNA and become a permanent part of it. “Since we use only 2% of our DNA, it may not be a problem,” commented Dr. Klinghardt.
